Paul Côté Resigns as CEO of Bromont 2018 World Equestrian Games

The Fédération Equestre du Québec has published the resignation letter of Paul Côté . With just over 2 years to go before the FEI world championships descends upon the small town of Bromont (featuring 8 FEI Disciplines), the crunch is certainly on to identify new leadership. There's not yet been an official statement from the 2018 WEG Organizing Committee (COJEM).

Below is a translation of the letter (Google Translate):

Bromont, August 2015
Dear Colleagues of the equestrian world,

As you know now, I left the post of Director General of COJEM 2018 on 12 August.

I accepted Indeed, at the request of the Minister of Transport of Quebec, to return to my former position as CEO of the Metropolitan Transport Agency (AMT) in Montreal for the next 4 years.
I want to thank all those who have supported me over the last 5 years, the nomination committee or the organizing committee of the Games. It was a unique and rewarding experience, and I am very proud of what we have accomplished.

I have great confidence in the COJEM team. This team is dedicated and competent, and she will rise to the challenges it will face in the months and years ahead.

I leave with regret, but am happy to again work in an industry I know well, and which he too will bring its share of challenges.

Thank you again, and good luck to COJEM !
