Heroes of the Horse
The inaugural Heroes of the Horse Awards was held at the Stratford Festival Theatre, December 8, 2002. The one-hour, 45-minute "Academy Awards for horses" honoured exemplary cultural contributions made in the name of the horse, recognizing world-class efforts in the categories of Film, Music, Literature, Sport, Medicine, Philanthropy, and Commerce.

Germany Wins Gold - USA Silver - Spain Bronze
It's official, Germany has won the Gold medal in the Team Dressage Competition at the World Equestrian Games. USA has won a well-deserved Silver Medal and the host country Spain has won their first Bronze. The Canadian Team finished in 9th position.
Germany Still Holding Onto Lead - USA Second
The medal positions remain unchanged after the third rider for each country in the Team Competition for the World Championship in Dressage. Germany is still leading the Team Championship from the United States. Spain is in for a sensation with the first World Championship medal in sight on their home turf.
Record crowds at 119th National Horse Show and Jumping Under The Stars
The stands were full to capacity during the day on Friday. As evening arrived with the Black Tie Gala Jumping Under the Stars, the crowd was overflowing and extremely enthusiastic.
